I began my professional journey in the music industry—a world I loved deeply. But after years in a high-pressure corporate environment, my health declined, and I was diagnosed with Sjögren’s Syndrome, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Fibromyalgia at age 35.
What started as a personal exploration of mind-body wellness quickly became a path of transformation. Yoga helped me manage my own symptoms, and over time, it became my way of helping others find relief, strength, and hope.
Today, I specialize in therapeutic yoga for autoimmune conditions and chronic illness, using evidence-informed tools to reduce inflammation, improve mobility, and support emotional well-being. I’m certified in Yoga for Arthritis by Dr. Steffany Moonaz and hold a 1,000-hour yoga therapy certification with Dr. Amy Wheeler.
I also serve on a clinical team in addiction and mental health care, offering trauma-sensitive yoga therapy to individuals in early recovery. Whether it's regulating the nervous system, reconnecting with the body, or simply finding moments of peace, my work is rooted in compassion and respect for each person's journey.
For older adults and seniors, I teach gentle, chair-supported yoga that improves balance, confidence, and connection. I’m especially proud of my work in senior living and memory care communities, where I’ve taught more than 5,000 classes.
In addition to yoga therapy, I’m certified to teach Basic Life Support, First Aid, and CPR—skills I used when I helped save a jogger’s life, an experience that led to receiving a Citizen Lifesaving Award from the Cobb County Fire Department.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me walking my dog, reading about health psychology, listening to podcasts, going to see live music.
